Mrs. Watts’ Special EOG Weekly Update
May 27-31, 2013
This week will be totally crazy due to EOG’s, so I’m just going to give everyone a reminder of what is happening each day!
Monday:
No school!! Enjoy a long Memorial Day Weekend!!
Tuesday:
Review day! We will be playing some review games and doing some last minute practice to be as prepared as we can be for our EOGs!!!!
Wednesday:
Review day! We will be playing some review games and doing some last minute practice to be as prepared as we can be for our EOGs!!!!
Thursday:
Today is our reading EOG. There will be several passages with around 50 questions for the students to answer. The test can go up to 4 hours so we will start right at 8:30 in the morning. Please have your child to school on time!! We’ve been working very hard on these passages – these students are ready to go! Please just encourage them to read carefully and take their time!!
Friday:
Today is our math EOG. This is slightly different from last year. There is only one test, but two parts. The first part is calculator inactive. When each child finishes that section, we paperclip it and they are not allowed to return to work in that section again. They will then be given a calculator to use for the final part of the test. When this test is over we are completely finished!! Congratulations on a job well done!!

*Please remember to get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast!!
*We will not be getting scores back until October for this test, so I will not be able to give you any information Thanks for all of your hard work at home that has made this year such a success!!
