Practice handwriting skills creatively....use LETTER SCHOOL on your I-pad or

- glitter glue, etc.
- play dough (reversal of numbers/letters)
- paint (reversal of numbers/letters)
Story writing...have your child to write a story...use Puppet Pals to create a story
- cut out magazine pictures
- find pictures from books
- use "how to draw" books
- use colored paper
- find pictures/ideas on the internet
Make up a story using the pictures. What happened first? next? last? Be sure to use capitals, punctuation and finger spacing between words.
READING CAN BE FUN! BECOME AN AUTHOR
Make mini books that are easy to read.
example: I like red apples. I like yellow apples. I like green apples. Do you like apples? Make a cover with the title and "author" (child's name) Send it in and we will share it with our class.
Look up math and spelling games on the computer. Great ideas are on our school website under computer lab! Remember to look at the "website of the day" on my web page!
